I had a radio show in Tennessee. I got fired. It was time for a real office job.
Either a few weeks or a few months later (can’t remember) the corporate giant I was employed at was bought by a corporate giant I was not employed at. They offered me a buyout that was bigger than any whole year of work I had completed to that point in my life. I took it.
The only caveat was I had to ‘shut off the lights’. Literally come into an office building and sit there until corporate giant I was not employed at was ready to take over. Until then I could do whatever I wanted in my cubicle… I just had to be in the cubicle from 9-5.
I decided to make a blog on Blogspot. It was named ‘Beyond Reproach’. I started it with my friend Chris. It got me through some pretty tedious days.
I got a new job that required me to do work for the money. Offers to write for other sites/publications. Beyond Reproach slowed down and then was paused. One day we’ll get back to it, I thought.
Took way longer than I expected, but here we are. If you were one of the 20x people that came by the site every so often, sorry for the delay. If you’re just discovering this site for the first time, sorry in general.
There is no real purpose here. Just a couple of friends (and maybe some other friends down the road) writing about things we’re interested in at the moment.
If you have any suggestions on things you want covered, you can keep them to yourself (respectfully). Unless you’re a big brand with a big budget for sponcon – then comment below.
